Has over 15 years experience in market and social development research in various countries in Africa i.e. East Africa, Cameroon, Nigeria and Ghana. He has worked on research projects dealing with vulnerable populations in both marketing of small holder farm produce and scaling market entry strategies among rural poor in Nigeria, Ghana, Benin and Uganda. Joseph will be in charge of the overall project management and final analysis process, and will be overall in project design and implementation. He holds a Master of Public Policy & Administration from the University of Nairobi
Tabitha has over 10 years experience in social and marketing research, working mainly among women and gender issues among the marginalized communities in Kenya and Uganda. She doubles as a part time member of faculty of the Catholic University of East Africa (CUEA) lecturing social studies and international relations. She will be instrumental in project design and methodology refinement. Tabitha holds an MA degree in International relations from the USIU- Africa.
Elukessu Claude has 10 years’ experience in operational research including Qualitative and Quantitative research projects in several provinces of the DRC, Central Africa Republic and Congo. Claude has deep knowledge of the South Kivu province where he as been involved in planning and implementing research projects in difficult circumstances. He has led GRI monitoring teams of experienced field data collectors/ recruiters/ enumerators spread across South Kivu, Tanganyika, Sankuru and Maniema.
Claude has strong leadership skills and has been a pillar in organizing for field recruitments, sample selection and logistical planning together with the field logistics managers across the provinces GRI has been conducting research studies in the eastern DRC. He is also a TOT- Train the trainer resource person in majority of GRI’s survey projects in Eastern DRC.
He has handled several qualitative and quantitative research projects, where organizing teams for data collection in the deepest parts of the DRC has been successful over the years. He has handled Monitoring and evaluation of projects, Project assessments as well as Third Party Monitoring (TPM) across the provinces. He will coordinate the TPM teams with security and local administration protocol to allow GRI research teams access and obtain data in the research processes.
Claude holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy and project management from Universite de Bukavu in Bukavu, Sud Kivu- DRC.
A highly skilled M&E expert with over 15 years of experience, most of it with the IFRC. Tendai has worked with project teams in various sectors including health, WASH, relief, livelihoods and food security, nutrition, cash and voucher assistance programming in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. He has a diverse range of donor experience including WFP, USAID/BHA, ECHO, DFID, SIDA, CIDA and RCRC movement partners. He has provided M&E technical support for Food for Peace (FFP) and OFDA programmes supported by USAID in North Eastern Nigeria.

Titus is a career banker and consultant who has worked in the banking industry in Kenya for over 15 years. He has designed SME financing systems for renowned financial institutions in East Africa. His deep understanding of the micro credit systems in many developing markets makes him a coveted asset in the development of SME financing products targeted at the low income strata of the society.
Titus has worked on large scale financial services evaluation surveys including the Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) project in Kenya. The 640 million USD US government project covering the agriculture sector sought to create credit ready SMEs. Titus was the lead SME finance expert in this project.

Albert Ongechi is a seasoned Business Development and Financial Inclusion and evaluation expert with over 20 years of experience driving MSME growth, sustainable value chains, and circular economy initiatives across East Africa. He has led SME lending portfolios in leading banks, pioneered risk-based lending and credit scoring models, and designed tailored financial products that expanded access to finance. Albert has also advanced renewable energy and waste management solutions while building SMEs capacity through entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs. He has conducted research projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Malawi. Albert has worked as a lead evaluation expert in financial services programmes in the region, notably the Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) project in Kenya. The 640 million USD US government project covered the agricultural, trade and distribution sectors. Albert holds an MBA from the University of Nairobi.
He has led evaluation projects in the financial services sector for clients such as the European Union, The World Bank, USAID, US DFC, The UN Economic Commission the African Union among others.
